“Tüigaat Avaa Tütimaniikya” (From the Shaddows, Ute Language”)
This Spectacular bull elk is the first of his herd to step out of the shadows into the warm morning sun. His body’s heat and heavy breath waft to show his powerful presence. The first of his harem peers silently from the shadows to see if she is safe. Awe is certainly elected by the massive antlers and such a mature bull. Sweeping back nearly the full length of his body, they pose a combination of deadly intimidation and majesty manifested as a royal crown.
This piece, and others, are available in several sizes on either fine art paper or on canvas which is hand-textured. For more information on choices to order, click the “Learn More” link
“Since creation’s birth, there are places where it seems the aura of Gods prescense still lingers…

VIDEO/GIF HERE FOR THIS PIECES TRANSITION ART
Time. In the wilderness, you can experience a different sort of time. Much slower and quiet, but also miraculous.
The above three images illustrate how the piece changes in a different light.
Depending on the reflection of the light, the sky is seen in different values. Light to dark to light again. As this transition takes place, by moving around the piece, the moon will appear. This is achieved by a painstaking hand application of 24k white gold leaf on each canvas print.
